Hero of Taslinia – Talents Guide

Updated: Oct 21, 2022

Introduction

Talents at Hero of Taslinia is one more way to make you Hero stronger and more versatile on the battlefield. Upgrading them gives your Hero valuable stats and a unique passive ability to add into his ability kit. In this guide we will explain with more details what are Talents, how to unlock them as fast as possible and how to use them correctly.

What are Talents and where to find them

Each Hero has its own Talents and in order to access them you simply have to go to your Hero List; find the Hero you want and then go to “Change Weapon”. From there you can see the 3 Talent roads that each Hero has, 1 main Talent Road and 2 sub-Talent roads. Players can switch between those Talent roads but only 1 of them can be active each time. Choosing one of the sub-Talent roads gives your Hero the option to switch into a different Class but with a limited number of abilities. As you can see on the image below in this example our Hero Dagger can switch to either Sword or Bow. If he does so, he can use their main weapons and some of their abilities.

As for the main Talent Road which is the one, we recommend always using, as you can see it has much more Talents than the subs. It has 2 occupation bonus Talents like the subs as well which depending on what occupation your Hero is using; you will get the corresponding stat, but the main difference is the “Master Talent”. The master talent is at the end of the main Talent Road and it’s the most important part from these Talent roads and that’s why each Hero should be using the main one. The reason of why it is so important its because it gives your Hero one extra passive ability. If you check our example below again with our Hero Dagger, you can see that there are 3 new abilities and depending on which occupation you are using you will get one of those.

Unlocking Talents

In order to unlock your Heroes’ Talents, you will need 2 things. First, you should make sure that you have the required Weapon Mastery level and of course the unlocking material which is the “Awakening Manuscript”. As you saw on our previous examples, there are some numbers on each Class Icon Talent Road and some more above the Talent Roads. The small ones at the Class Icons are representing the current Weapon Mastery level of that Class and the numbers above the Talent Roads are the required Weapon Mastery level for each Talent. As you can see in order to unlock the “Master Talent” you will need to have your Weapon Mastery level at maximum so you should focus into leveling it as fast as possible. The best way of leveling it is by using Soul Scrolls which can be found at Sisyphus Tower store, Shop, Daily Missions, World Boss etc. When you finally get to the required Weapon Mastery level its time to unlock the Talent you wish to and to do that you will need “Awakening Manuscript”. The best way to obtain this item is from Sisyphus Tower Shop. There is a limit of how much of them (20) you can buy each week so make sure you buy them all before the weekly reset. One more way to obtain them is the World Boss. Every Friday and Saturday, when the World Boss is available to challenge, make sure you do as many times as possible. There is a big chance of dropping that item and its one of the best ways to farm it. Besides these 2 ways, you can also find it from the Shop.

How to Use Talents

Since you’ve reached the Weapon Mastery level you wanted and collected enough Awakening Manuscripts its time to use them. First, you need to understand that this process takes time and effort so you must be sure of which Heroes you will be using on your main team and use those resources only on them at first. Your main goal is to unlock the Master Talent of all your 4 main Heroes that you are using into your team. When you do that, you can then start unlocking the sub-Talents as well. Your priority should be on the Hero that his Master Talent will provide the most at the battlefield. Besides that, you should also check what stats each Talents gives. There are Heroes like Staff for example that lack Accuracy so make sure you unlock the Talent with the Accuracy bonus as fast as possible. Finally, your building relates a lot on which Master Talent you will be using. If we take as an example the Hero Bow, if you are going with the option of Trapper and Hemorrhage Talent then you are choosing a Bleed/DoT building but with the Hunter and Soft Spot Talent you are more into a Critical Damage Building.

Conclusion

Concluding our guide, things are very simple and straightforward when it comes to Talents. Choose your 4 main Heroes, level up their Weapon Mastery and make sure to farm all the Awakening Manuscripts from Sisyphus Tower and World Boss each week. The extra stats and the passive ability you get from them are without a doubt a huge boost for every team and competitive player so make sure to unlock them as fast as possible.
